Interactive 3D model, collection item of the Museum of T.G.M. in Rakovník
For the dining of President T. G. Masaryk in the 1920s a complete porcelain dining service with a large state emblem by porcelain in Březová was made. The service was used not only for official events, but also for the ordinary dining of the president and his family.
The dining service of the President of T. G. Masaryk is currently in the collections of Prague Castle. From there it was lent for an exhibition at the Museum of T. G. Masaryk in Lány and digitized by CESNET.
The CESNET association captured the cup using a 3D scanner and photography. Using a 3D scanner, photogrammetry, and subsequent Blender processing, a precision 3D computer model with a close-up of the surface texture of the cup was created.
The computer 3D model allows for remote access over the computer network and virtual interaction with the collection object.
